    Question, rear main seal

    What would issues be if it is a rear main seal blown?

    You will leak oil at a high rate and if your car is a manual transmission the oil will ruin the clutch. The cost of the seal is very cheap, the labor to remove and reinstall the transmission is what hurts.

    I believe mine is starting to seep. There's oil between the block and transmission. Not 100% sure it's the rear main. Going to start from top and work down.
