did some research and found that I could run my old tires with my aftermarket rims but they are not ideal
so I found some options compare to my OEM size 225/50R18
235/45R18
235/50R18
225/50R18 vs 235/50R18
Speedometer Difference
20 mph (32.19 km/h) vs 20.29 mph (32.66 km/h)
25 mph (40.23 km/h) vs 25.37 mph (40.82 km/h)
30 mph (48.28 km/h) vs 30.44 mph (48.99 km/h)
225/50R18 vs 235/45R18
20 mph (32.19 km/h) vs 19.6 mph (31.55 km/h)
25 mph (40.23 km/h) vs 24.51 mph (39.44 km/h)
30 mph (48.28 km/h) vs 29.41 mph (47.32 km/h)
My question; is would you rather be a little over or below the OEM speed meter when changing tire size … I want to keep it close to OEM as possible
