Dirt and possible metal in oil filter - How bad is it really?

Car is 2000 M5, Februar production, with 160K miles on it, I had the car in the past 12 months (got it with 145K)

Changed my oil and oil filter today, oil and filter are ~2500 miles old.

Opened the oil filter and this is how it looks like -

    1. Plenty of black rubber-like substance, it keeps it's shape (kind of firm feel to it) but I can roll it to balls with my fingers if I pick it up.

    2. Very few shiny particles (circled in red, see in the pictures), they are tiny, would not be picked up by a magnet nor could I pick them up from the filter media with my fingers.

    Questions are:
    1. Should I be worried about either of the items?
    2. The oil sent to Blackstone, once results come in I will update
    3. For the metal particles, any idea where could they come from, is it normal wear and tear or does this qualify for more concern?

Rubber most likely are seals/orings/gaskets. Plastic/metal bits could be the chain guides. I would start the engine until it's figured out. You could drop the pan and check furthermore. How did it sound before? Noisy all the time? Or only at startup? I'm interested in the oil analysis results as well.

That looks like plastic. Might be timing chain guides. Drop the pan to confirm if it is timing chain guides

This. Definitely looks like pieces of chain guides. Might want to look into getting those done.
