Don't really know if it makes a difference but I installed my height adjusters on the bottom. I had my car corner balanced and aligned at RRT Racing in Virginia and they did not mention that they thought my adjusters were installed improperly.

I've always installed my adjusters on the bottom. Don't think it would really make much of a difference, though.

Granted, it'd be a pretty small number, but on the bottom, you're adding un-sprung weight.

Did you have the rubber pad on the top or bottom? Large end of the spring on top or bottom?

Checked TC’s site. It does say that they can be installed either way

Heard back from TC via email. They said that i had them installed right in the picture.

    “It rotates on the nub”

I’m not sure why you’d want “rotation” there?

Also, the spring fits tightly over the rubber pad on bottom, which holds it in place. To me that seems like a good thing. Guess I could move the rubber pad to the top. Would it fit over the top “nub”?

Last thing I noticed, these springs are shorter then my last. When the trailing arm hangs down as far as the shock will allow, there is a gap between the spring and mount. That ok?

The pads come stock on the bottom, but I believe some people have them on the top or remove them. Not sure if the springs make noise if you don't use the pads. I'm also not sure what advantage you get by not using the pads.
