So my left half shaft decided to suicide itself, causing 2 of the bolts in the differential output shaft to break. So I still have two holes filled in my differential output shaft. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get these out? I have a few ideas like the standard reverse drilling stuff, but maybe someone has a better idea.
Weld a nut on the end and turn it out

Or drill a hole through it and use a center punch to turn it counter clockwise

The output flange just pops out of the diff. so at least you can work at the bench rather than in situ.
You will probably do better, unless the broken part is in such a state that it will destroy the threads, driving it the rest of the way through rather than backing out the rusty threads on the back side.
I wish I would have known this, I'd have sent some bolts too. PM if you want some, just pay the postage.
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
as ross said you can just pop those out, might loose a bit of oil but it sure beats working under a car. other than that you could also try grabbing the backside with channel locks and twisting it out
Ross' idea sounds easiest and most reliable. No need to reverse-drill.
