    Seat Calibration issues

OK, So the weather was nice all weekend here in NYC. I finally decided to give my 535i xDrive some TLC after a lot of holiday traveling. The next morning, I get the “Seat Calibration” error and I’ve followed the instructions in the manual as well as a couple YouTube videos and the message still exist. I checked the rails in both seats to make sure there’s no obstruction and it appears to be clear.

How can I rectify this issue? That message is so annoying, thanks in advance.

Have a shop or dealership with the proper software try and initialize it. If it works, problem solved. If not, it will usually tell you what part of the calibration failed.

I went to one of the local indies in the area and had to get it reinitialized; problem solved. Set me back $50.

Good to hear. Some things you just can't do yourself without the proper tools or diagnostic equipment.
