Do you know where I can find lowering springs in North America for a 1986 e23? Thanks!
I am having Mtechs cloned (well technically Mtech style as to keep myself out of court, if BMW even cares), super badass forum member lent me the rear as I have the fronts. They are going to the facility Monday for inspection, yes they will be made in the US with US steel. Nothing offshore. Last I heard from the engineer, they are about 6-8 weeks out. Fingers crossed they will begin to ship from me to customers early April.
Dinan basically copied OE Mtechs (not verbatim, but very close) and everyone loves those.
Drop me a line if you have interest. If not, just keep trolling around. I heard H&Rs have gone NLA too lately, so whatever is left is left. Much else will be very difficult to attain such as RD or even Dinan coils. Imagine if you were after sway bars. Those are like finding a unicorn.
I make E23 parts.

Ford, MB, and GM round out the pack.
I've used MMM in Germany (an H&R distributor) to order my last two sets of e23 spring sets:

+1 on MMM. It took nearly a month to receive them but they can provide all the e23 diameter H&R springs, 276 euros (about $310) shipped. My fronts are 174mm, which are especially hard to find.
Awesome!
