Yeah and given what I found in the tank, I’ll err on the side of caution. New lines!
Thanks

The push lock rubber style hose (non braided) is not that bad. The fittings get you!

Using a aftermarket pressure reg I sent it back to the stock return line. Even at wide open, no hiccups. Im NA tho so idk how the bigger fuel pump you would need would react if at all with stock line in a negative way. Can't go wrong with Lantz's setup tho.
5 ton puller stripped trying to push the half shafts out of the hub. Fun stuff!

The proper hydraulic tool makes it really easy. When I went through that, first I thought a whack with a hammer was all it would need. Then I broke out the puller, thinking a little more force would do it. No way. Spent the couple hundred bucks on the tool that attaches to the hub with a hydraulic ram and they were out in no time.

The two in the car drove out with a wooden dowel and dead blow. These....not so much.

Got them out. Tool was ~$90 on amazon. Drivers side I had to extend handle on the tool. Really popped when it finally gave way.
You can see where it was corroded and sticking there. Gonna sand and wire brush it down for insertion.

That’s a pretty nifty tool. I just put a puller on it, torqued it as hard as I could, blasted it with PB, and left for the weekend. Came back and it had popped. That would save a couple days.. I think the rear mount could be very cool. If you look up “Tom’s Turbo Garage” on YouTube, he just put an LS in a Tacoma with a rear mounted turbo and went over some of the challenges/solutions to it. It makes for a much cleaner engine bay, and makes it a little more of a sleeper.
