Hi I have a 03 330xi that is missing super bad I use to could just stop car turn it off and go under hood unplug the maf and plug it back up a restart car and would drive fine for awhile and have to do same thing again when it started missing again now that’s not working and replaced the maf that didn’t fix my problem I’m getting lean bank 1 and 2 codes along with missing codes random multiple misfire no Specific cylinder any ideas? I was thinking maybe the camshaft position sensors? Help plz
Check all your intake plumbing and vacuum lines for leaks. Even a small intake leak can make them run pretty poorly.
The first step in diagnosing a problem is to scan the engine computer (DME) for codes.
16 year old car. Look at the intake bellows by the MAF any cracks there? squeeze it and look for cracks that might open up. Maybe find someone to run a smoke test for you. Sounds like you've got a leak somewhere.

+1 : You have a large intake / CCV system leak. Take the car to a good Euro/BMW shop for a smoke test of the system, plus a crankcase vacuum test.
