A few days ago when turning the ignition on I noticed an "SOS Call System Malfunction" warning. I then also observed that there was no audio or warning chimes. My neighbor scanned for codes and the following came up.
CDO 487/Intermittent - ZGM: Synchronisation process for FlexRay failed
801 C20/Permanent - ZGM: central fault memory full - no control-unit fault
D01 4A1/Intermittent - EPS interface (actual position EPS. 51.0.2) Signal invalid
Prior to all this, when turning the ignition on after driving a short distance, I was intermittently seeing a warning that the battery was low and that non essential accessories would be turned off. I had seen this about two months ago and then replaced the battery. My neighbor checked the battery level and it checked out ok.
Has anyone had such issues and what was the cause?
Just FYI, none of the fault codes pertain to anything related to the audio system. Something in the MOST bus is down. Could be the amp, TCU, head unit, etc. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you have a lot of learning to do before trying to fix it yourself, or I would recommend taking it to a competent professional.
