My mark II navigation unit started acting up last month. Would have a blank white screen pop up. Researched about this issue and the best solution was to replace it with a mark IV unit. Bought one for a couple hundred dollars on ebay who was local, got it yesterday and installed it last night. Even came with a 2004 nav disc and the unit has the latest software V32. It looks so much nicer than my mark II’s orange and brown menu. I also have no more leaks, except for one. The oil line o-ring by the passenger side has a leak from one of the o-rings. How hard is this job?
Looks great! You can get some aftermarket ones on eBay pretty cheap. I just had clear film applied to them so they dont fade out pre-maturely.

I did think about replacing the lenses, but this car has so many missing pieces I am trying to save what I can! I bought a pair of used headlights for a hundy for the pair to cobble two good ones together and now have quite a bit of labor into these. Down the road if things go well I might replace the lenses and projectors but I know just cleaning the projectors and interior lenses inside and out makes a world of difference.
You can actually buy brand new Depo headlights for about $200 each on RockAuto.
Hah yeah, came into work this morning and got an email from FCP about them. Man I coulda waited. Maybe buy a couple to have in my own stock.
Of course it says:
Product Information
This product has been identified to fit European applications only and is NOT available for FCP to order within the USA. Listing is for reference only.
So not sure what that means.

So I went to the salvage yard, hoping I could find a usable tank and this is what came up...

Two different cars, both with ruined fuel tanks by ham-fisted goombas, and the filler neck was less than a foot away. You know it's bad when the tank you're trying to replace is better than all others within 100 miles.

A lot of salvage yards can't be bothered to spend an extra few minutes draining a fuel tank, so they just puncture all of the tanks to drain them when a car comes in, even though that means the tank is now worthless to sell.

Turned 150k taking the family on Spring Break.
Did the palindrome of 150051 on the Basnight Bridge (that in my mind will always be Bonner).

Need some clean up.

Got my front driver's seat reupholstered since the top portion had a nasty rip. Going to treat the leather to match the shininess of the rest of the bottom. Other than that, hardly noticeable when in the car.
