Nice find Purple! I was looking for a red e70 X5 when I was shopping for my wife's but just could not find one, and when I finally did, the guy wanted a fortune for it. Poor baby, needs a bath and a warm garage.

Coilovers installed, both rear sides done, drives a bit hard but thats because they are new ones. But im glad that thats replaced now and hopefully it will not break after couple of months again.

I price a new X5 at the local dealer for a three year lease. The sticker was just over 68* less 4K, TTL back to $69K X5 for 3 lear lease was $1,050 per month.
*that was the same as my 2001 iSport MSRP.

Today I reinstalled the frankenstein bumper (until new parts come in) cleaned the trunk. Cleaned the passenger cabin and removed all of the petrified french fries under the seats, collected about $1.83 in loose change, lubed door, trunk, and hood hinges. Glued the drivers side door trim by the rear door back in place, hit the passenger side door handles with the rattle can as they were closer to bubble gum pink than Imola Red, cleaned and rain-x-ed all of the windows. Finally got the summer tires fitted, 245/45s Bridgestones on the rear and 235/50s Pirellis on the front, should be ready for swapping when the times right!

I got the first coat of paint on the new front bumper for Big Red. Iv'e given up on posting pictures here. IMG tags don't seem to do anything, and the attachment process must so easy that it's hard for me. (I have a knack for making easy things difficult) But I'll describe it for you... There's an enormous plastic bumper hanging from my garage ceiling. It's mostly red. You can see a red car parked outside. That's Big Red. There's also a lot of clutter laying around because my garage is a mess. Let your imagination fill in the blanks.
