Yeah idk man I would've prob bought it anyway as is if it was local though considering the price. imola '01's are incredibly rare. those wheels are something else. not my cup of tea either. I see it is now owned by some dude/enthusiast in NJ who also obsessively parts E38's out. The paint was also peeling in some places (clear coat) and I see that wasn't mentioned in the ad. At least it got a good home.

Same here. If I could get my hands on a local 01 Imola/Black for that price I'd jump on it in a heartbeat just to use for a donor car to get Big Red back to her former glory. My clear coat is also a trainwreck right now but I'm planning on getting the paint and body work sorted out this summer.
