I have a 528it msport with a 5 speed in MN. Long story short, rust has gotten the better of the tailgate and not thier is a pretty sizeable hole in it. Sucks, because the rest of the car is in really nice shape. Has a ton of new parts in it and I have two sets of wheels for it. Everything that it needs to function properly is working 100%, hell, even the radio or dash doesn't have any dead pixels. 201,xxx miles. What would your guys opinion be on pricing? I'm thinking 2,500 maybe 3,000.
I would keep the car but in my current situation it'd probably be the smart move to pass it on.
I'm really sorry to hear that! What is the Serial # for your touring?
Cutting to the chase, I keep a spreadsheet of all the native manual tourings as they come up for sale in the US and have data since 2016. PM me your email and I am happy to share it so you may see where the market is at.
Based on the info you posted, I would say you are in the right ballpark. At sub-2K it will move very fast though.

Since it is a 5spd you might get $3k if you can find the right buyer. While they are desirable to forum members, to the general public they are not.

maybe spend the money to replace the tailgate? Should be able to swap and command a higher price, or just keep the car at that point...
