Hello everyone I'm trying to setup sub in the trunk but I'm having some trouble finding a 12v current that turns on and off with the car, does anyone know of any or have a diagram for those amps in the trunk?

look here. There’s a switch power wire to the amp. It was a small gauge (22ga or so) solid white wire on my 99 & 2000. I’d avoid a trunk mounted sub though. Find a 8” enclosure to replace the stock sub. It will both sound and look much better without sacrificing trunk space

Thank you so much, I'll check that out.
I agree with Z3forlife. The trunk is sealed from passenger compartment so not much use for putting sub back there. My amp accepts the white amp power on line that is already in the BMW to switch on and off. The power to the amp is direct to the battery with a circuit breaker close to the battery.
The main sub options in the passenger compartment include passenger footwell, upgrading factory enclosure with better speaker, and replacing factory enclosure with after market one (there are some options on etsy).
I custom made an enclosure that fits between the roll hoops to get maximum volume in the sealed cabinet. It was a pain in the butt.
I found my enclosure for around $175 on e bay. The guy was asking 2 something but took the offer. It’s a decently built mdf enclosure for a 8” sub. It comes wrapped in a material similar to standard Z3 but you could wrap it in leather or whatever. There aren’t many 8” subs spec’d for the small enclosure size so check whatever one you’re looking at first. Rockford used to make one (that’s what I’m using). It’s not so much a volume thing as “feeling”the base for me. That’s the one thing the stock system struggles with unless you have the 6” which does ok but is a pita to replace.
