    E36 Replace OBC with digital monitor

    Has anyone replaced their OBC with a digital monitor that displays similar data using the same cables that go to the OBC? I haven’t found any info on this except for buying the expensive race units that display all the obd2 engine info. Instead would it be possible to install some programmable LCD to display OBD2 diagnostic from obc cables?
