    E36 suspension

Hi. I have new h&r racing springs 29910 front and 29936 rear (not installed yet). I have a 97 328ic. I have to change the whole car suspension and I was wondering if these springs would fit my car, and I would only have to buy some good struts/shocks. Did a little research and it says it wouldnt fit 328ic. Should I sell them and get new setup or I can use the springs and just have to buy new strut/shocks? Or any recommendation.

H&R racing are far too low for the E36. Dinan+Konis are the best option for the E36 as they maintain your front roll centers while increasing the spring rate and don't have the compression issues the Bilsteins have.

I have the Bilstein B8 struts with Eibach Pro Kit springs in my 328. I have only done a couple hundred kilometers with this setup, but I can already say that I'm very satisfied with it. It's firm, but still comfortable. My only issue is that the rear sits too low - I plan to address that with thicker spring pads.

you answered your own question. when there are many options that actually fit, why go thru the hassle of trying to make something fit that won't
