Aftermarket backup camera/dash cam?

I have an aftermarket combination backup camera/dashcam setup in my Subaru and after driving my 2016 F22 for a week I've decided I'd REALLY like a backup camera at LEAST because you just can't see out of that thing in the dark.


I would really like it if the backup camera could display in the idrive dash unit, but even though it's a 2016 it only has 17k miles on it so the factory warranty is still in play, which makes me very leery of tearing the dash and the headliner and so forth apart like I did with the Subaru.


Those of you that have aftermarkets, what did you buy? How did you set it up? what problems did you have that I should be on the lookout for?

You could possibly install a manual override / reverse switch / camera trigger
