Hi everyone, share your experience about how you heat up your garage if there is no central heating. I have a cold start problem (BMW E90 sedan), but battery and starter are fine. Want to solve the problem from another side. Was looking for some kind of a heater for garage, found the list of propane heaters over there https://houseweather.org/best-propan...er-for-garage/ but do not know if there are any with remote control or timer not to wake up every morning, go to the garage to turn on the heater.
For a permanent solution, a mini split heat pump is the way to go. I'm in Toronto, Canada and it heats detached garage all winter, plus air conditioning in summer, makes working on the car in the garage comfortable all year long. I bought mine from Amazon(Senville Aura 12000BTU) for around $900 US and installed it myself, just had an HVAC guy in to test and pressurize the lines. My Garage is 575 sq ft.
You are going to heat a garage in Atlanta Georgia rather than fix your car?
What will you do when the car is parked elsewhere?
Fix the car
