Homelink (garage door opener) stopped working on 2014 F01

My homelink (aka garage door opener) stopped working. Wondering how to go about debugging it. Can I just replace the homelink unit?

It was working fine until about 2 weeks ago, then it went off a couple of times (meaning when I start the car, the buttons won't blink the light and I assume not send any code / signals). Now it is not working at all.

It's part of the mirror, so you'd have to replace the whole mirror assembly. They are pricey. Just be glad it worked at all! So many openers just aren't compatible with the BMW Homelink.

I would pull out the homelink programming instructions and see if you can clear all the stored openers and reset yours. If the LED isn't blinking at all, then it isn't getting power. The mirrors are very plentiful on eBay and I might consider buying one and having a local Euro repair shop install it.
