Looks like they changed the system, now one has to log in and suscribe, $30/day, $250/month and $2500/year https://www.bmwtechinfo.com/#/login
Pitty, that site was very helpful with the workshop repair manuals and tightening torques for the older BMWs.

there are some available online for payment, google for bmw e32 workshop manual.
    Or buy from the BMW dealer, ETK lists it as CD Repair manual E32 German/English p/n 01 99 0 033 444 , EURO 100 https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/produ...1-99-0-033-444
But in my opinion the Bentley Repair Manual is better for the DIYer, workshop manual too often mentions, use BMW special tooll # .... and refer to ........
the Bentley is made for the DIYer.

Only caveat IMO being that the Bentley is incomplete, e.g., the engine chapter only covers the top end. It could certainly be argued that serious bottom-end work isn't within the purview of most DIYers, but something like rod / main bearing inspection and replacement is a pretty common maintenance requirement on older BMWs. I know that at least for this DIYer rebuilding his M70, the various gaps in the Bentley and lack of an online e32 TIS resource (newtis only goes back to e38 :/ ) has been an ongoing frustration.

I agree with this ^ While the Bentley manual is an excellent resource, there have been multiple things over the years for the e34/e32 that I found detailed info on in the TIS which the Bentley manual did not cover and I couldn't find elsewhere. Many of those items have been obscure things with very particular procedures / steps that I would not have figured out otherwise.

The download one in the thread that shogun linked above had the full index of all the models (e34, e32, e34, etc.) in the .rar file, but it looks like the content of only the E31 is in the CD package. Direct link to online E32 manual, not sure if there's a way to download the whole thing:

some comments from the E31 forum: The RAR file is just an archive (like a zip or tar.gz) and it contains all the webpages of the online manual (about 846MB). It's not a PDF. If you download it, you will need the password to decompress it. The advantage is you have an offline version, but I believe the contents are the same.

    password for archive: cardiagn.com

Yes that is correct. The password to unzip the files worked. It runs as an offline version and the contents are identical to the web versions we are familiar with, but for me it only had the content for the e31 section. The 'table of contents' for other chassis's are there but the actual sections are missing.

If you find way to get the non-e31 sections to work let us know

    What happened to bmwtechinfo.com?

    TL;DR: http://e31repair.com

A few months ago it appeared that BMW took down/reorganized their 'bmwtechinfo' website such that https://www.bmwtechinfo.com/repair/main/721en/ returned a 404 (aka. Not Found).

This was a major frustration for me as sometimes I only had access to my phone when reviewing torque specs or repair info.

With that in mind, I had some time today to convert the e31 repair manual CD assets (as found at Wuffer's website) into a functional website, which you can find here: e31repair.com

There will certainly be issues and odd behaviours on the site. If you come across anything please don't hesitate to DM me.

The site is an nginx Docker image hosted on AWS with images served by S3. If anyone is interested in obtaining the code please DM me and I will send you my github link.

Awesome work! I tried out another downloaded version of the TIS, run on a windows XP virtual machine, and it works well but seems to be missing a large portion of the document sections for whatever reason.

Do you happen to have the rest of those CDs? I have been looking everywhere. There used to be 3 CD's packed with info.

It's missing hundreds and hundreds of pages that one because it was downloaded incorrectly. The BMW site is missing the whole of 941en. It's a fucking shit show
