    mechanical juddeing in drivetrain

Does anyone have any idea what would cause a distinct mechanical judder in the drivetrain (not in the engine) on acceleration, especially noticeable from full stop in first gear? This is definitely coming from the rear and seems to be possibly on the passenger side. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

check out the axles, driveshaft along with any control arm bushings etc.. jack up that corner grab the wheel and push in and out see if there is any play..maybe put up the rear end and see if it does that without it being under pressure have one person hit the accelerator slightly while you inspect..

also, check your guibo. that is particularly the times that you most feel one that needs replacing
