    Bimmerforums is not secure

I am getting this message today:

This server could not prove that it is www.bimmerforums.com; its security certificate expired in the last day. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

If they move to LetsEncrypt the SSL is free. But it will have to be updated every 90 days.

Admins need to set a calendar alert for a week before this date every year, so they don’t forget to update the cert.
They should also set an alert for the domain name expiration, software licenses that need to be re-upped, etc.
FWIW, this is IT 101 level stuff.

FWIW, 80% of major hacks, virus-attacks and other nefarious network harms can be prevented by respecting and implementing basic IT 101 level hygiene...!!
