Floor mats: distance between locking holes

Would you mind doing me a favor and measure the distance between the locking holes for the rear floor mats?

I recently ordered some mats and, unfortunately, the holes in the rear mats are too far apart. The manufacturer says that they sold hundreds of mats for the E32. Something must be different in my car then. Well, maybe there were differences over the years or in short and long wheel base cars. It would be surprising, but who knows? A few precise measurements should clear up this mystery.

    Thanks in advance.

385mm measured at the rear left carpet (driver's side). I lined up my measuring tape on-center with the notch on each clip.

11/88 750iL, I just measured and in my car it is 375mm, checked on left and right side, both 375mm, maybe differences by built year? I also lined up my measuring tape on-center with the notch on each clip

Interesting! I measured 383mm on the mats which matches Cactuar's car. In my car I measured only 368±1 mm.

I'd like to see some more numbers from more cars, please.

08/93 build date 740il - both rear floor mats are 373mm measured between the center notches of the two clips with the floor mats clipped in. Strange that there seems to be a difference of 10mm between some cars.
