My woman wants to buy me a gift. I don't own a OBD2 for my 98Z3 and 97 328i (always borrow my friends)
I don't want to have her spend more than say $150.
Suggestions?
Thanks
Blue tooth enabled units are about $10-15 and work great with phone apps for fault codes, real time data and even limited data logging. They don't provide BMW specific codes but offer the best of OBD2 generic functions. I use torq pro on Android devices but there are plenty of other good options. I find having the actual engine temps to be handy.
Started to look around for a bluetooth unit and found this: BlueDriver Bluetooth Pro OBDII Scan Tool for iPhone & Android
Looked ok, opinions?
Check out OBDFusion. Highly recommended. Available in both iOS and Android flavors.
Have her buy you a bottle of old foresters 1920 prohibition blend bourbon and have a drink with her
