Shooting brakes aren’t unique to BMW. This and the custom Cayman shooting brake I saw earlier today make me think there needs to be more out there, though. I love my roadster, but I think I am a clown shoe convert.
Yeah, if I had more garage space, I would be inclined to pick up a Coupe to go with the Roadster; however, given the choice of or one or the other, I prefer a drop-top toy.
Both Romas are pretty sweet, but for well north of $200k, that's what I would expect.
Well it might be inspiration on some level but not really, those cars are so much sleeker and way different shapes all in all. Ours is this funny curvature creature with an absolute square box greenhouse on top of the it. Ferrari is flowing design from top to bottom.

Corvette copies Ferrari and Ferrari copies the Z Coupe?
We saw a Ferrari FF (and an F12...) yesterday while at Sebring, initial impression is that the FF is at least 1/3rd larger than the M Coupe we were in (the FF is a 4-seater).
Coincidentally, there were two (2) Coupes out on the track; a Z3 and an M that had an S54 transplanted into it. Also got our 1st look at some friend's current generation Z4 (it's A LOT larger than a Z3 or M Rdstr, and the owner readily admits that it's more of a boulevard cruiser than a sportscar
