Hey all! I知 brand new to the forum and I知 looking for advice on some practical tuning options for my 2017 BMW 540 I sedan. The BMW is my first and I have been bitten by a serious Bavarian Bug. Any insight or guidance that this form can provide me and making practical exterior and mechanical upgrades to my sport line 540i would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
unfortunately you may need to visit another site/forum. The G30 forum here is mostly crickets....no one posts.
2001 540 M-Sport (cdn), ST X (KW) coilovers, H&R 15mm spacers, Eibach anti roll bars (28mm/18mm), Beastpower rear antiroll bar brackets, M5 rear chassis reinforcements (traction rods), Strong Strut front upper strut bar, Dinan Stage 1 software, factory M-Audio subs, Bavsound speaker upgrade, Bluebus bluetooth integration, Stop Tech SS brake lines, ATE coated brake rotors, ATE ceramic brake pads.
BMW offers something called the power&sound package - something along those lines. Due to emission regulations BMW, it is not longer available in the EU for the moment. Anyway it gives you an additional 25hp and 50nm of torque. If it is available in the US, than it is an easy choice as I doesn't affect your warranty. Outside of that, various tuners offer power upgrades - AC Schnitzer for example - but first make sure with your dealer about possible warranty issues.
