Good Afternoon,
So I got 2 door e46 and Im planning to swap LS3 motor in it for drifting. For now I only gutted the chassis and will get the cage in next month. I started ordering some parts and started with cooling since mishimoto had good deals over the black Friday.
now im looking into the fuel system, and im not sure which pattern I wanna go. some people run in tank pumps some exterior.
assuming I will run this motor <500hp, is there any decent kit I could purchase? I was looking into AEM or DW.
Also, I got 19x31 mishimoto radiator and im considering Meziere 300 water pump 55gal/min.
Any input will be appreciated, data sheets, diagrams, build logs.
Thank You,
Pat
I'm running a walbro mated to the stock pump but Some people run M3 pumps for less than 500whp.
Status: Someone put glitter in my oil. Wait. Why's all my oil outside the engine? What's that knocking?
check out my build threads, LS3 E36 and LS6 E46. In the 46 I just used an M3 pump, I'm making 420whp with it and it's been good for 4+ years now. In the E36 we did a radium surge with dual 450s but we are shooting for 600-700 on E85 with it.

you're not going to fit the LS3 accessory drive with the radiator in the front I don't think, but the entire F body accessory drive bolts right up. You'll be fine with the stock water pump unless you are just going electric for fun.
Radiator will be installed in the trunk. it's been planned already.
as far as the fuel pump, I wanna buy a decent pump since I may add some power later on. plug and play kit would be the best.
Stock tank is out the car and most likely I will run some 8-10gal tank in the trunk .
