    AME 30-1910-Fic 6 -e36

Hello all. I’m new to this site. I have a 1997 328 i. 2.8 stock. I have just fitted a autowerkes super charger c38 running about 6 psi. All up and running quite well. But not having a dynotune machine sent it out to have the piggy back ecu fitted and tuned. All went well apart from the timing side no control to retard timing. The tuners thought it was the crank sensor and changed this to no avail. Now they are saying the AME is a copy and not working on the ignition side. I’ve got two options go for another Piggy back eg Link and rewire or buy another 30-1910-fic 6 due to straight plug in. Has anyone had any problems with timing adjustment with the fic 6 or did I buy a lemon piggy back. Thanks for your time .

You could have gotten a tune for the stock ECU.
