Intermittent loss of power

I’ve been dealing with an issue where my car will lose power suddenly and sound like it’s misfiring but still run. This doesn’t occur at startup or short drives. Happens usually after driving for >10 minutes or driving hard.
Upon restarting the car, everything goes back to normal and car Revs and drives beautifully.
I got p0335 on obd reader and table 16-53&f4 code on peak reader. Both indicating an issue with crankshaft position sensor. I replaced it with a new vdo unit and I encountered the same issue about 40 miles later.
What else could be malfunctioning?

From what I've read...the aftermarket sensors can be problematic. Is VDO the stock sensor?

Also, might be worth getting inpa running for possibly a more accurate diagnosis.

VDO is an oem
Siemens makes the official one I believe but can’t find them online without the bmw price tag so went with the vdo

Ended up being a dud sensor. Replaced it with a new vdo and harness and all is well.
