Ok, so I have far too much ATF leaking from the union of the brake servo unit where it mates with the brake master cylinder. Has anyone take one of these apart and can enlighten me on what is inside and how to get into it? The master cylinder is not leaking at all.
This servo is item #1 in this... https://www.realoem.com/bmw/images/diag_3gf.png
The master is unnumbered in this: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/images/diag_3eo.png
These are from these pages respectively... servo: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=34_0267
and master: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=34_0122
This is on my 1979 733i. I would assume there are some O-rings and sliding spindles of some sort.
Thanks,
Scott

I second Jay. He does great work for the community.
FWIW, if you are in there that far you should replace all the low pressure hydroboost lines at minimum, too. Due to age of our vehicles, consider rebuilding the high side hoses.
I make E23 parts.
