Moonroof problems

Panoramic moonroof is stuck open on my 2004 bmw x5. Was able to close it manually by sliding the wedges for the back glass backwards then closing the front with the button. My wife hit the button for vent mode and the moonroof is stuck open again only now I cannot manually close it

Panoramic sunroofs, plastic parts a recipe for disaster if you could get it closed I would unplug the switches because the whole thing is plastic and any problems with it the whole unit has to be replaced, generally.
