    Staggered or no staggered

I have a 2011 535i Xdrive base body style with the Sport Package and some other options. I have the S2K4A V Spoke 331 wheel option. Are these the staggered set or are all 4 wheels the same? Thanks in advance.

Having the same size tires allows for better tire rotation and hopefully better tire wear

To answer your question. Staggered setup was an option from factory. Most xdrive come square though. I have an m sport xdrive with 351 wheels and the setup i believe is square. But I’m just going by the tire size itself. For a true staggered set you would need the rear wheels to be wider by atleast .5 inch. I have m-parallel wheels on my e39. Rears are wider than fronts. True staggered setup. So my educated guess is your setup is NOT staggered.

Thank you @Trainwreck. I figured this out by doing a VIN check on RWD F10 with the same wheels on eBay. Turns out that they are all staggered, even the MSport with Xdrive are square as well. My question is, how does that impact vehicles with AWD? TIA

There are mixed opinions on that. Some say it will ruin the differentials because they are running at different ratios. At it kind of makes sense. Atleast it did to me when I first heard it. But then I asked myself (was shopping for an e70/f15 at the time) well how does an e70/f15 xdrive run a staggered setup with the sport package. Love the 214 wheels on the e70. And that package comes staggered from factory no matter if xdrive or sdrive and on any trim 35 50 or diesel!

My f06 650ix GC came from the factory with 20" staggered wheels (style 356)...so yes, BMW does use staggered wheels on models that have xDrive. See the last half of the 1st bullet in the section below for AWD...it's "permissible" if the car comes "fitted" with staggered tires. (aka...follow the recommended tire sizes listed in the owners manual for staggered tire/wheel set-ups)
