Scan tools for current F-chassis BMWs?

Any suggestions for a good hand-held scan tool (under $400) that will cover a 2020 F23 M240i?
I have the Schwaben (Foxwell NT-510 rebranded) one that I got for my MINIs, and it's supposed to
cover BMW, MINI, and Rolls, but even with the latest updates, it doesn't work very well at all with
the M240i. Crashes with VIN ID attempt and missing a lot of other functionality.
Foxwelltech support has been less than helpful so far. It does work great for my 2009 MINI R55 Clubman JCW.

It looks like the Foxwell NT530 is supposed to work on recent F-chassis BMWs (at least up to 2018-19),
but it's hard to get any solid confirmation on this and I don't want to order one just to send it back if it won't work.

Any other options that give similar functionality as the Foxwell scanners in this price range?

What are others using?

Is the Autophix 7910 a reasonable
(and less expensive) alternative?

Or perhaps one of the Autel units,
maybe one of the 808 models?

Feedback from Foxwell is that the NT510
does not cover a 2020 F23 and that so far,
the NT530 doesn’t, either.

More research is pointing me
towards the Launch CRP429C or
Launch X431 Pro Mini.

Anyone have any thoughts of any of
those mentioned so far?

Got the Launch X431 Pros Mini tool.
Takes a while to load up the programs and
updates when first setting it up and
configuring, but after that it reads my car
and scans quick enough. Gave me some
clues on why the convertible top will not
open (although will let the dealer fix that
as the car is brand new).
