Interior lit door handles Retrofit questions

Ok, so I have a 95 with no puddle lights and no lit interior door handles. I was able to snatch a full set from a parts yard years ago. I am now FINALLY taking my DD 750 offline to do the upgrades along with door speakers and window track greasing.

Anyway, I spliced the wire for ground, no issue. The Gray with red stripe that I pulled from the bone yard DOES NOT power the bulb in the older 7. I know the power command comes in from the smaller black connector, I believe its the blue wire, since its the illumination wire in the radio?

I know someone on here has done this upgrade, but I can't remember their name, but does anyone know the correct wiring for the older cars to retrofit the interior warm glow?

I am going to wire the puddle lights to the courtesy light at the bottom of each door wiring harness, should be just fine there, unless someone has a different idea.

I will post my findings if no one else can remember.

I have a set of FL lighted handles and harnesses. Handles are Titan silver if interested.

But for a quick fix, can you just tap the illumination on the window switch for each door?
