Or you could do it at https://bimmercat.com
As for price, depends on to many factors to give on VIN alone. Mileage, condition, desire, etc. That, you will need to decide.

Interesting that bimmercat had a popup that linked you to mdecoder...but you really could have gotten the same information from the Bimmercat site.

Save or remember both of those sites if you're still looking. Sometimes a site may be down or you may need a different interpretation of the option if it is written in German...the other site may have translated the info.

The bimmercat.com site has a link to its VIN Decoder located at the upper left of the page. That site also (obviously) has the BMW online part database, too...which allows you to look up BMW part nbrs and other related parts references.

Below...you can see how you use the VIN decode feature on the http://bimmercat.com website...and again it can come in handy like if you're looking for a part but you need to know what option pkg you have because there's a different part nbr based on how the vehicle is optioned. At the bimmercat site, you can get both that info by clicking open another browser tab and pulling up the decoded option list as well as the part nbr database info.

Click the green DECODE VIN tab at the top left of the page:

Then type in the last 7 digits of the BMW's VIN in the proper field:

Then if you scroll down you'll see the decoded VIN (a pop up add blocks part of the list when I took a screenshot grab which wouldn't normally be there if normally):
