E83 M-sport package. Can I buy non-M sport and convert ? What's in this package?

If I buy a base X3, can I plug & play install M-sport stuff like stiffer shocks and springs?
What exactly is part of the M-sport package? Not to be confused with an actual X3 M.

I'm not too worried about a body kit, seats, or wheel size. Steering wheel, eh.
I am mainly interested in the sport suspension firmness.
What suspension parts are different ?

To begin, I don't know exactly what the differences may have been with regards to things like "sports struts", thicker f/r anti-sway bars or wheel packages like the E39's had. I do know H&R makes lowering springs and f/r anti-sway bars. Coupled with Bilstein struts, urethane bushings here and there and you'd have something fun if that's your idea of fun.

Suspension upgrades are key to handling with the e83. I recommend the rear sway bar from the M sport model for a start.

Stock rear anti-sway bar is 17.5mm, M sport is 18.5mm. That is nearly 25% stiffer (see calculation here: http://www.autospeed.com/cms/article...igans&A=112694 )

Here is p/n for factory rear M sport: https://parts.bmwnorthwest.com/p/BMW...iABEgICdfD_BwE

At that price I'd say that's a pretty good bang for the buck

You may also want to install upgraded rear trailing arm bushings and / or RTAB limiting plates
