Hey guys long time no see since I last had my 328is E36. Since then I have recently looked into and getting a 335 with the n54 but didn't find anything in my area worth buying, unfortunately. I found a beautiful, super well maintained 13 335 decked out. I mean the car still has the new car smell in it, leather is super supple, the ONLY thing wrong with it is the front end is peppered from the highway driving. The car has 73k on it and I’m looking to get an extended warranty on it. As for which “Tier” I will get depends on what it covers. What are your guys opinion on BMW extended warranties?
P.S. Feels good to be back 😎
Is it a BMW warranty? Or from an aftermarket company?
BMW is the best and most comprehensive. The aftermarket companies have a lot of exclusions. I personally wouldn't buy one. You gotta remember, if they weren't profitable for the company, they wouldn't sell them.

I will be purchasing it from a dealership. When you say I wouldn’t buy one, are you referencing a dealer or aftermarket, or both? I just want the long tedious stuff is covered. Pretty much anything that might take me longer than a Saturday to do or if i need Special Service Tools to complete, which I would assume on an F30 is pretty much everything 🤣. I just started doing my homework last night so I’m not very familiar with what I have and what I may need, tool wise.
Just because you're purchasing from a dealer, doesn't mean the warranty if from BMW. If the car isn't certified pre-owned then it won't be a BMW warranty. Actually a 2013 model is probably too old anyway. The CPO warranty only goes 6 years.
So to answer your question, no, I wouldn't buy any aftermarket warranty. But that's just me. I'm more than capable of repairing anything on my vehicle.
