    05 525 gas smell

    Hi I have a 05 525 that is having intermittent gas fumes coming from the ac vents,or that is where it seems to be coming from. Car has 115k miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

    Have you done any investigation at all? Logical 1st step would be to check all the fuel lines for leaks.

    Yes I have done some rough inspections under the hood etc. The smell getting worse,I think my next step will be to pull the plastic trim pieces on top of the engine and take a sniff around, same with the back seats ,see if it's the fuel pump
