Rear driveshaft replacement on 2006 BMW X3 2.5L

So one of the u joints blew on the driveshaft so I am replacing the entire shaft, ordered a new aftermarket drive shaft and confirmed with the seller that it is the correct one but when I went to install the new one it appears to be about 10mm too short even when I extend the shaft as far as it will go with the adjustment nut, not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any help is very appreciated thanks

Try Driveshaft Specialist in San Antonio. All the techs I know get rebuilt driveshafts from that shop.

If it's too short, it's obviously not the right one.

We only use factory because of driveshaft vibrations incountered when trying the rebuild ones
