Inspection Light on Dim After Reset

I searched and found lots of info on Inspection lights but did not find a thread on this problem.

I have '87 vert. I had several green lights showing on the dash panel but the Inspection light was on and dim at night. I'm sure it's on in the day time too but I can't see it given it's dimness. I reset the green lights but the Inspection light is still on and remains dim.

Thoughts on why and what to do about it? Thanks for any suggestions.

Usually any problems on the SI (Service Interval) board are due to dead batteries and/or leaking batteries on the board.

I must agree, i have 5 lights (green), the 4th one intermittently goes on and off and so does the last one.

Got new batteries, but too damn cold to be working on the car ATM.
