Hello all. I am on the hunt for a 2011 BMW 1M coupe. Preferences are: 1-2 owner vehicle, low mileage, no accidents, service records. I have seen EVERY 1M listed for the past two months on Craigslist, Ebay, Cars.com, Autotrader, CarGurus, and FB Marketplace. I am hoping to stir the pot here and possibly find one that has not been listed. Please shoot me a message here if you have one or know of someone that would be willing to discuss selling. Thank you.
Just bought mine Friday. I say buy one soon in the color you want. Plenty out there in different mileage ranges, but I would not be looking for a “deal.” Just try not to overpay. I will say, you never ever go wrong with lowest miles, even at high retail numbers. But it limits driving.
I sold my ultra low mileage 1999 F355 GTB and my 1999 GTS F1 to buy ultra low mileage Z06 Vette, 2 ZR1’s and the 1 M. Still have money left over. Way better cars with less “Ferrari Repair/SVC Tax.” Low mileage will always have an “upside” no matter what the car.
The M will be C&C only with occasional drive to work 23k miles. The ZR-1 is an NCRS 1990 early build VIN for shows 24k miles (these are popping 30 years old in 36 days so Europe opens up) and values will climb. The ZR1 is a semi daily beast 33k miles just drive it cause I can.
I sold my e39 M5 I bought on here last year and wanted another special M. Was looking for slick Dash V8 Manual M3’s and realized how special the 1M is and how rare. Gives me the BMW I love, lots of upside and in 10 years it will be worth something for sure, a lot of something.
Good luck. Buy soon. They will not get any cheaper.
