Is the track handling package worth it?

I am shopping for my next car and will be a 340i xDrive. I have my eyes on two at the moment. Both are Estoril Blue, one has black interior and is automatic, the other has coral red interior and is manual.

I'm not a huge fan of the blue with red but it has the track handling package. Does that make it worth getting? I can always wrap the exterior black or nardo grey, something that will look good with the red interior. It also has Adaptive M Suspension, Advanced Real-Time Traffic Information, Aerodynamic Kit, Cold Weather Package, Instrument Cluster w/Extended Contents, M Sport Brakes, M Sport Package (337), M Steering Wheel, Navigation System and shadowline exterior trim.

The blue and black one has Adaptive M Suspension, Cold Weather Package, Driver Assistance Package, harman/kardon Surround Sound System, M Sport Package (400M), M Steering Wheel, Navigation System/GPS, Park Distance Control, Rear-View Camera.

On the other hand, I'm torn between manual and automatic. I have always preferred manual but the automatic with paddle shifters looks like a lot of fun also.

After writing this post, it made me realize that the blue with red interior is the one I will most likely get. I will keep everyone posted

I have been told that the adaptive suspension is a must have, but my 428xi coupe does not have it, and I'm A-OK with that. Drive both, decide for yourself

The adaptive shocks are meh. In "comfort" mode the rears feel a bit underdamped. They are certainly comfortable around town for commuting but something about the rear shocks just feel slow to react over choppy surfaces (think intersections with tire ruts). They feel better clicked up into "sport" setting but I usually don't spend my time there.

The highlights of the package are definitely the M Sport brakes (these feel awesome imo) and Michelin PSS tires.

Now I have my eyes on a different one but its an 8 hour drive. This one is loaded as I think all the ones that say M Performance are but with a little more. Black sapphire metallic and black dakota leather interior, automatic, M sport, track handling, adaptive M suspension, M performance exhaust, techology, staggered 19" orbit grey M wheels, driving assistance, cold weather and some other small stuff. MSRP was 62,845. Its a 2016 with 37k miles and they want $34,700. Is this worth my drive? I asked in another and I got a yes on the suspension, no on exhaust and the tech package is meh.

There is one identical to this but its alpine white with black interior and 18"s. It has 50k miles and they want $34,661. Its also just over a 7 hour drive away.

The ones closest to me I would consider is the blue/black one I mentioned earlier and an alpine white/black one similar to the blue but with the tech and no adaptive suspension. I think I will pass on the blue/coral red one.

Just in case anyone cares, I'm going to lease a 2020 M340i. More to come.

Cool. Just make sure you purchase enough miles for your lifestyle. Nothing is worse than being afraid to drive your car because you'll be over your leased miles.

Got me a 2020 M340i xDrive. White with Black interior with blue stitching. Rear heated seats, heads up display, 19" M wheels, driver assistance package, I think that's it. Seems like all have the harmon/kardon system.
Hopefully I don't get screwed when I return it. I will bight the bullet and pay for any miles I go over.
Overall, it's awesome! There is no G20 section yet under 3 series though.
