Putting a feeler out there to see if there's any interest in my 83 320i group 2 m20b25 turbo project. LOTS of work done to it with some hard to find parts. I'm at the point in my life where I don't have much free time to work on a car. Would rather my fun car just be a jump in and go type of deal. Did you shorten the driveshaft? I am using the E30 center chop with M5 diff on my 323i and I have to shorten it 1 inch and 1/2

I used a driveshaft from a 87 635, had to swap my trans to a large output flange. No cutting though, the shaft was spline in the center to allow it to be shortened or extended.

Ok. I am running the 323i tranny so thats why I cut the drive shaft. So the 6 series drive shafts - are adjustable - how do you set if for where you want it?

I used an e30 driveshaft with zero issues. Adjusted it to fit and done.
