    bosch injector specs

    Hi guys
with the wiring done for my haltech conversion, I just wanted to verify my stock bosch injector specs to enter into my ecu programme
    Flow rate 205 cc/min
    high impedence (14 ohms approx.)
dead times I have no idea...??

I think any info on dead times would be greatly appreciated gents. Searches lead to not much
    Any help much appreciated
    Cheers
    Dan

    Dan,
Here is a good reference for the fuel injector specs: http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm#BOSCH

Let me know if you don't have the injector p/n you are looking for. The M30 b34 and b35's use a different injector. I have them written down somewhere or you can look up the p/n on realoem.com.

Btw, the M30 injectors with factory Bosch Motronic are low impedance.

The dead time can be calculated by taking the expected engine horsepower and the combined flow rate for all injectors and the BTU content of the fuel being used. Do the math, and find out how much more fuel the injectors can flow in horsepower vs what the engine puts out minus volumetric efficiency, and you can determine how long the injectors are not flowing.

    MAny thanks 🙏
So the info I looked up said 14 ohms??? Maybe that’s wrong??
Thanks for your reply mate. It’s all a bit complicated really

You can measure the resistance across the two electrical terminals of the injector. If the resistance is between 1.5 and 4.0 Ohm you have low impedance injectors. If the resistance is between 8 and 16 Ohm you have high impedance injectors.
