But they don't just give salvage titles to cars without any damage. You are asking full retail price for state mandated damaged goods - do you have pics from when the title was issued / when you purchased it? What's the VIN?

Registering a car with a salvage title can be more process intensive than registering a clean title car in some states, not to mention the fact that it's branded makes insurance cost more, and also resale value down the line is tanked. If someone buys this from you at 25,5 and tries to resell a year from now, they'd be lucky to get half of what they paid, simply due to the title.

I understand the concern regarding the title. To clarify, it is a Rebuilt Illinois title and not a Salvage title, which means it has gone through a state inspection and has been deemed roadworthy. We don’t have photos from when the salvage title was issued, but the car sustained virtually no damage from the flooding as mentioned above, and required no repairs in order to pass a state inspection.

We have researched cars with similar mileage and condition and believe it is priced appropriately considering the title. But we certainly are open to offers.
