I'm looking to get a used VF sc kit for my 03 540i. It seems to be missing this bracket:
Anyone know what this is for?

It is used to relocate the ABS unit. Basically it offsets it closer to the valve cover and frees up some space for the SC'er. If missing, you could fab up something yourself, but this will involve some fiddling, etc. Clearances are pretty tight in that area.

Thank you. It doesn't look too bad. It seems supercharger support tube is missing too. Looks like it would be a bit difficult to fabricate.Originally Posted by philly98540

Be very careful back when I built a custom S/C for my M50 I underestimated the power silicone hoses have against brake lines out of the modulator. I sprung a hydraulic leak down an aggressive hill after about 5k miles of a silicone hose rubbing. Be careful!

Holy crap. That's frightening. You won't have any brakes, would you?
