Presenting my 1984 BMW 325e: Yara Greyjoy
I posted this on R3VLimited but that message board seems to have issues with posts and edits and other stuff. Probably better that I post here as some of my mods apply to other models as well.
I purchased my 1984 BMW 325e two years ago. It was a salvage barn find - salvaged due to roof and trunk damage from a tree falling on it. It set for a while collecting dust until the damage was repaired and I purchased it. As such, the interior, frame, and many other components were in great condition.
I've spent the past 2 years restoring it, refreshing all non-working and questionable components and doing many upgrades along the way.
Engine: timing belt, water pump, radiator, cooling system hoses, fan clutch, 86+ ECU with TMS chip, Magnaflow exhaust (headers back)
Fuel: fuel pumps (in-tank and in-line), fuel level sensor
Ignition: distributor & cap, wires, plugs
Suspension: FLCAs, tie rods, TMS LCAB offset poly-80a, JT Design RSM, H&R sport springs, Koni SA shocks
Brakes: SS lines, caliper refresh, StopTech pads, OEM rotors
Transmission: clutch and slave cylinders, SS line, output seals, shifter bushings, DSSR, vibration damper delete, flex disk, center driveshaft bearing
Interior: passenger window motor, custom tartan trim (headliner, shift boot, e-brake boot, and rear deck lid), door kick trim, billiard ball shifter.
HVAC: heater core, heater core valve, blower fan assembly, windshield wiper motor
Exterior: rear Euro bumper, XXr 521 gold 16x8 wheels, RoadHugger GTP A/S 205/60 R16 tires
Audio: Sony MEX-N5300BT head, dual Focal AP-4340SI 70Wx4 amps, Focal RSE-130 F & RXE-130 R speakers, dual Pioneer 8" 150W sealed
I'll have follow-up threads in the other sub-forums for more information on my sealed sub enclosure, audio system build, custom shift knob, and interior trim components.
