Hello all,
I am sure I am asking the same question that someone else has but I wanted to see anyway. I recently purchased ARC 8 with ET 30 17X9 for my E36 and was hoping that I could use these as my track wheels. As of now my biggest issue is that I have ST40 Stoptech BBK on and can not clear the calipers with this. I know I would need to run a spacer to clear the brakes. I think I would have to go up to a 15mm spacer to clear the caliper, but then I would be pushing the wheel out even more so I'm not sure about clearance issues on the fender. I do not have a problem putting flares on or a huge pull on the fenders. I am running MCS suspension but I think that is not an issue with the rims I have. Should I just sell the ARC 8 ET30 and just get the ARC 8 ET 42 that will fit over the brake and just be done with it?
Thanks for any and all opinons
Michael
Get some Amazon spacers and check clearance?
I run 17x9.5 +35 with a 15mm front spacer to clear the perches on my MCS and I have no outside rubbing up front. That being said, my fenders are rolled.
Dont know what size tire you plan to run but you should be fine with a 245 and the 15mil spacer, as long as you have -3 or more front camber. 245 street tire that is.

So a 15mm spacer isn’t too much on these cars then? Thanks for putting my mind as ease. I was worried about having the wrong size. Glad I can use the concave wheel (I really like the look of them)
Ive run up to a 20mil on track with my old 8.5 square setup. My current winter project is 245 hoosiers on 17x9.5 arc8. 15 mil spacer looks like it should work once I switch to mcs with 2.25 spring i.d. Im around -4 degrees camber, clearance to my pfc bbk caliper is around 1 millimeter lol.
Im sure you'll be able to make your work, you might just have to play around with spacers, camber, and fender rolling.
