I've noticed for the past couple of weeks when I slow down and don't come to a complete stop, as I accelerate again my car (2011 528i with 127k) does this strange succession of jerks like the transmission's trying to properly up/down shift very rapidly. I read about the reset with pushing the accelerator for 60 seconds and will try before I leave work today...but that's only a temporary fix right? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
The transmission should have been serviced twice at your mileage, and be into its third servicing interval. How many times has it been serviced?
Have you checked adaptations? What are the clutch fill times and pressures looking like?
What ilevel is the transmission software?

I have the same symptoms as the op. Also my drive belt tensioner was twitching. So I replaced it with a new one. And still have the twitch. But as I inspected my harmonic balancer I did not notice much wobble like in the video. Seems like a lot of f10 have this jerkiness. Must be a common fix!

Welcome to the club.. My car will do exactly what you mentioned.
(2011 535i xDrive, 105k)
Sometimes it will start shaking like crazy on idle. If I gently press the gas and hold the brake it will go stop doing it but continue once I release the accelerator. I've had an intermittent CEL for the past year or so. Codes were misfire, MAF sensor. Replaced MAF. Didn't work.
Other replacements:
Serp belt
tensioner pulley
MAF sensor
radiator hose (all 3 parts)
Intake manifold gasket
Coolant change
Oil housing gaskets
Intake air filter
I tried the accelerator reset.. my car went absolutely CRAZY on idle for the next 300 miles or so.... felt like my engine was going to jump out of my car. never doing that again.
IDK what I am going to replace next. Probably coils and plugs.
